Since the topology of MECHATROLINK-Ⅱ is a bus connection, transmission delay doesn't occur at each node. The delay between nodes that occurs in the MECHATROLINK-Ⅱ network is only the propagation delay (approximately 5 to 6 ns/m) when signals pass through the cable. Therefore, if the total cable length is 50 m, the delay between the modules connected at both ends of the network is approximately 250 to 300 ns.
