The MECHATROLINK Members Association (MMA) exhibited
the SEMICON Taiwan 2008 for the first time, from September
9-11 (Tue. - Thurs.), 2008 at Taipei World Trade Center
in Taiwan.
For the main exhibits, we exhibited the MECHATROLINK-II
products interconnectivity demo on the wall of the booth.
Aside from the main exhibits, a gantry mechanism that
uses a linear motor and a direct drive motor was demonstrated,
and a MECHATROLINK-III product was exhibited as an example.
A total of 900 visitors filled out the questionnaire
during the three-day exhibition, helping to increase
awareness of MECHATROLINK. Ten new companies joined
the MMA during the exhibition.
MECHATROLINK products are expected to be used widely
in coming years for manufacturing devices in the semiconductor
and LCD industries in Taiwan.
