The MMA participated in the “Asia Monozukuri Conference” – “Innovation in Automobile Industry” held in Thailand on August 27 (Wed), 2014 as one of the sponsors.

The Asia Monozukuri Conference 2014 was organized in Bangkok to promote an understanding of the strengths and merits of Japan’s monozukuri practices and increase the presence of Japan in the Asian market. The conference included the participation of executives and executive trainees in the manufacturing sector, and design and development sectors of local companies, including Thai companies and Japanese companies active in Thailand. About 280 people participated in the conference.

At the conference, the MMA introduced its activities and showcased the advantages that MECHATROLINK has over other networks by demonstrating MECHATROLINK’s synchronization performance and visual, real-time operation status and data.

The Asia Monozukuri Conference will also be organized this year in India on September 18, in Indonesia on November 12, and Viet Nam on December 10. The MMA will participate in each of these conferences to promote the use of MECHATROLINK.
