Lecture by User

Mr. Takashi Kito of Sony Manufacturing Systems Corporation expressed his candid opinions as a user of MECHATROLINK and as an MMA member company representative. As a result of Sony's use of MECHATROLINK for their products, he said they could;

  • easily develop highly upgraded versions of firmware based on accumulated company know-how in firmware development.
  • streamline hardware and reduce wiring.
  • He added that the strong support from another MMA member company also helped facilitate their development.

Special Lecture

Mr. Yoshitaka Ito, Manager of YARUDEA Laboratory, gave a speech titled "Change Yourself, Change Your Junior Staff, and Change Your Workplace!". He said that a positive comment is received by people better than a negative one, and that he himself quit smoking by using the term "graduating from smoking" instead of "smoking abstinence". This is a good example of the important role played by words in facilitating improvement.
