The MECHATROLINK Members Association (MMA) participated in the Taipei International Automation Technology Exhibition held at the Nangang Exhibition Hall in the Taipei World Trade Center (TWTC) from August 31 (Wed) to September 3(Sat), 2011. This year the MMA promoted MECHATROLINK to the Taiwanese market at its own booth.

At the booth, we demonstrated the MECHATROLINK-Ⅱ and -Ⅲ compatible products by member companies and the demonstration was well received. Two Taiwanese manufacturers, Art Control Systems and LNC Technology, also exhibited their MECHATROLINK-compatible products at our booth. Many people stopped at our booth to see the demonstration and exhibits. The number of visitors during the exhibition totaled about 900.

On September 2, we held the MMA general meeting for Taiwanese companies and reported on the current status of the MMA. In the meeting, products by member companies were introduced. Taiwanese manufacturers of MECHATROLINK compatible products and a Taiwanese user of MECHATROLINK gave speeches in the meeting.

We predict MECHATROLINK will be more widely used in Taiwan in the near future.
