The MMA attended in the System Control Fair 2015, a three-day exhibition at Tokyo Big Sight from Dec.2 (Wed) to 4 (Fri), 2015.

This year, we presented MECHATROLINK solutions for the adoption of Industrie 4.0 by arranging the MMA booth to allow visitors to experience the visualization of data using MECHATROLINK communications together with the IoT and M2M technologies.

Newer versions of the MECHATROLINK demonstration units were placed at the MMA booth to introduce MECHATROLINK solutions, which helped visitors to appreciate the advantages of MECHATROLINK.

We also introduced the features of MECHATROLINK, including the improvement of the connective demonstration panel with the rich lineup of MECHATROLINK-compliant products and the high degree of openness, as well as its capability for high-speed synchronization.

We demonstrated concrete examples of using information from different devices collected through MECHATROLINK, such as connecting the demonstration units to the Cloud using M2M devices in order to visualize the operational status of each device on a tablet. Such demonstrations gave the visitors a clear image of different network applications.

Seven MMA member companies displayed their products at the MMA booth. There was always a crowd in front of each display.

From 16:00 on the second day of the exhibition, we arranged a happy hour at the MMA booth and served free drinks and snacks. This event allowed visitors to relax and take time to enjoy the displays.

The number of visitors to the MMA booth during the three-day exhibition was about 4,000, which was the largest since the first time the MMA participated in this exhibition.

The MMA will continue actively promoting MECHATROLINK solutions that are always moving forward.
